How Much Do Windows Cost

The cost of vinyl windows can vary widely depending on several factors, including the brand, size, style, features, and the region where you live. Additionally, installation costs may be a significant part of the overall expense. We will give you a general overview of the cost of windows, and then at the bottom (if you prefer to skip down there) we will fill you in on our pricing averages.

1. Low-End Range:

- Basic, standard-sized vinyl windows without many additional features may start at around $200 to $400 per window. This range is often associated with smaller, single-hung or double-hung windows.

2. Mid-Range:

- For mid-range vinyl windows with more features, better energy efficiency, and potentially larger sizes, you can expect to pay between $400 and $800 per window.

3. High-End Range:

- High-end vinyl windows, which may include premium features such as triple-pane glass, advanced coatings for energy efficiency, and custom designs, can range from $800 to $1,500 or more per window.

4. Installation Costs:

- Installation costs are a significant consideration. Professional installation typically adds to the overall expense. Installation costs can vary but might range from $100 to $300 per window, depending on factors like complexity and location.

5. Additional Costs:

- Additional costs may include the removal of old windows, disposal fees, and any necessary modifications to the window openings. These can add a few hundred dollars to the total project cost.

It's important to note that these are general estimates, and actual prices can vary based on the factors mentioned earlier. To get an accurate cost for your specific needs, it's recommended to obtain quotes from local window suppliers and contractors. They can assess your requirements, provide recommendations, and give you a detailed estimate based on the size and specifications of the windows you're considering.

At Hub City Home Improvements, the way we price our replacement windows is with an all-in-one approach. We do not have separate fees for installation, disposal etc. In the Lubbock, West Texas area, we are seeing our window pricing vary from approximately $600-$1,200 per window depending on the size, type, color, and material of the window. We mainly focus on vinyl windows due to them being cost effective and high quality. This does not mean a small bathroom window will be $600, but the average comes from larger living room windows or certain colors or styles.

We are happy to help answer any questions you may have, and we do offer free estimates. Also, with a set of windows, we have a $500 discount on fiberglass attic insulation ($1,500 minimum). To contact us, you can call or text at 806-786-6444
